Kol Bonim (Families with Children in Grades PreK-2)

Kol Bonim is our group for parents and their young children.  Kol Bonim meets approximately five times per year for fun social events, allowing children to play together while parents schmooze!  Siblings are always welcome at Kol Bonim, as well!

Kol Yeladim (3rd-5th Grades)

Kol Yeladim is for kids in grades 3-5.  Eight or nine events per year aim to turn Religious School classmates into friends as they play and learn together outside the classroom walls.

Hero Kids--In Person Role Playing Games (RPG) (Grades 2-5)

Get your kids out from behind their computer screens, TV, video games and televisions!  This program has all the fun and excitement of video games, but with the benefit of developing their social skills, strategic thinking and imagination.  Hero Kids meets once a month immediately following Religious School, 12 - 1:15 p.m in Room 109/111.  The cost is $5 to cover pizza for lunch. Dates TBA.

Family Shabbat (Families with Children Grades 1-5)

Temple Kol Emeth and the TKE Religious School have teamed up to bring you Family Shabbat one Friday per month at 6:00 pm.  During dinner, parents chat and learn with Rabbi Lebow and each other, while kids are engaged in games and learning with the TKE staff.  We close out the evening with everyone together for a 35 minute creative, family-friendly Shabbat Service.  Check the calendar for the next one, because we'd love to have you!

Kol Noar (6th-8th Grades)

Kol Noar is designed to deepen our middle schoolers' immersion in the TKE community.  Kol Noar members not only enjoy fun and engaging programming like scavenger hunts and overnights, but they also begin to attend occasional congregational Shabbat services as a group, volunteer together in the TKE community and the wider Atlanta area community and more.

KEFTY (9th-12th Grades)

KEFTY (Kol Emeth Federation of Temple Youth) is our flagship youth group for teens in 9th-12th grades.  The teen-elected KEFTY Board organizes and implements programs with the assistance of KEFTY Advisor Ralphie Kaplan.  Programs include weekly teen lounges, monthly events, volunteering and prayer opportunities, and regional events with teens from around the Southeast.

For questions about how to get involved with any of these programs, please email Rebecca Tullman or Carol Lief.  For KEFTY specific questions, you may also contact KEFTY advisor Ralphie Kaplan.
