Calling all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade chefs! Spend the afternoon crafting your own homemade personal pizzas from scratch and planting fresh ingredients you can take home to grow. Along the way, we’ll explore the many ways Jews express gratitude for the miracle of food—learning about different versions of the motzi and birkat hamazon—while enjoying a delicious, hands-on experience together.

KEFTY Lounge Night: How to Look for College Jewishly

Open to all teens and parents, this evening with KEFTY will feature an in-depth conversation about navigating the college search and preparation process through a Jewish lens. Hear from Hillel professionals about Jewish life on campus, as well as experts in college admissions who will guide you through every step—from touring schools and exploring majors, to completing applications and preparing for the transition to college. A dinner option will be provided. The program is designed for both teens and families, with dedicated teen hangout time to follow.

KEFTY Jr. Picnic in the Park

All 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders are invited to join us for an afternoon of fun, friends, and fresh air! We’ll enjoy classic picnic games, tasty snacks, and plenty of time to relax and play together in the park. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll bring the fun indoors to the Doc Lebow Center at Temple Kol Emeth—same great games, same great snacks, just under a roof!
