B'Yachad Initiative

To ensure that every interfaith family feels welcome at TKE, the B’Yachad Committee is hosting nine listening sessions. Six of these sessions are for specific groups of congregants based on location or affinity. Three of these sessions are open to any member who is in a relationship where one partner is not Jewish. Space is limited for each session, so please sign up early to have your voice heard. If you have any questions, or none of these dates work for you, please reach out to Rachel Myers (email in our online directory), B’Yachad Committee Chair, or Rabbi Foster.

Some FAQ’s:
  • Each session will be 90 minutes and include time for conversation and community building.
  • Discussions will be led by a B’Yachad Committee member, and a second person will be present for note-taking.
  • Non-TKE locations will be communicated to participants the week of the session.
  • No TKE staff will be present for the conversations, though they may be there for the community time.
  • It is okay for only one partner to attend, but both are preferred.
