l'chaim: actives seniors at TKE
Are you looking for fun, friendship, and meaningful connection in this stage of life?
L’Chaim - Hebrew for “to life” - is Temple Kol Emeth’s group for active seniors who want to celebrate community, stay engaged, and enjoy life together.
L’Chaim creates opportunities for Baby Boomers and beyond to gather, laugh, learn, and give back. Our programs include:
- Koffee and Kibbitz – A monthly morning gathering, co-sponsored by AgeWell Atlanta Neighborhoods, with time to socialize followed by engaging presentations or programs tailored for our age group.
- Special Events and Outings – Enjoy dinner-and-theater nights, movie screenings, and other opportunities to experience arts and culture together, both at TKE and around the North Metro community.
- Shabbat and Holiday Gatherings – Celebrate Jewish life with festive meals, Sunday Supper in the Sukkah, holiday-themed activities, and meaningful ritual moments.
- Music and Entertainment Nights – Relive your favorite tunes and discover new ones at events like our Beach Music Party with the Elderly Bros., cabaret nights at TKE, and lively dinner-dance evenings.
- Mitzvah Projects – Give back to the community through service projects that let us make a difference together.
Get Involved! L’Chaim thrives on new ideas and fresh energy. If you’d like to share your thoughts or suggest a program, reach out to our chair, Janet Melnik.
Let’s do this together - stay lively, stay active, and raise a glass to life!
