Isaiah Hour Social Action Fair

Thursday, October 2, 2025 10 Tishrei 5786

1:00 PM - 3:30 PM
This is the fast I desire: to unlock fetters of wickedness… to let the oppressed go free … to share your bread with the hungry…when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to ignore your own kin. - Isaiah 58

For millennia, our tradition includes the belief that our Yom Kippur experience should inspire us to take actions of justice and compassion. On Yom Kippur afternoon, beginning shortly after the end of our Morning Service and continuing until 3:30pm, our auxiliaries and small groups will fill the social hall with projects that enable us to live out the words of our prophet Isaiah.

The event runs from 1:00pm - 3:30pm. Participate at any point for half an hour, or the entire time, your efforts will be appreciated by others.
