1:00 PM - 3:00 PMHybridJoin our lively co-ed group as we discuss a variety of book selections.
The selection for our June meeting is "Finding Chika: A Little Girl, an Earthquake, and the Making of a Family" by Mitch Albom. Told in hindsight, and through illuminating conversations with Chika herself, this is Albom at his most poignant and vulnerable. Finding Chika is a celebration of a girl, her adoptive guardians, and the incredible bond they formed—a devastatingly beautiful portrait of what it means to be a family, regardless of how it is made.
We generally meet in the TKE conference room, with an option to join the discussion via Zoom. For more information and to RSVP, please reach out to Jayne Jacobs via email at jacobsbauer@yahoo.com.
Upcoming selections:
July 17 - " Florence Adler Swims Forever" by Rachel Beanland
