From preschoolers to seniors and from latke lovers to lovers of learning, there's something for everyone this Chanukah at TKE! 
Check out the schedule below to for all our events and our community outdoor menorah lighting times.

Friday, December 8

6:00 p.m. Consecration Family Shabbat Service 

Join us as we officially launch our newest learners onto their Jewish educational path at our Consecration Family Shabbat Service. 

7:00 p.m. "Shabbanukah" Dinner for All

Shabbat+Chanukah=Shabbanukah! Join us for a delicious dinner between our two Shabbat services. RSVPs have closed. Email Cindy to see if space is available. 

8:00 p.m. Shabbat Service

Saturday, December 9

7:00 p.m. Latke Challenge 2023

Chanukah at TKE means gourmet latkes! And gourmet latkes means our innovative chefs challenge each other to present the most decadent and delectable latkes of the year! For those less creative, we just get to eat them! 

Admission is $10 per person; Latke Challenge chef admitted for free! Register here by December 7. All proceeds from the event plus any additional donations will benefit the Jewish Federation of Atlanta Israel Emergency Campaign.

12:30 p.m. Sharing Chanukah Light: A Family Tikkun Olam Experience

Families with Religious School students are invited to stay after school for pizza and latkes and help us share the light of Chanukah by participating in a variety of kid-friendly projects to support local non-profit organizations. This event is FREE but registration is requested here.

4:00 p.m. Young Adult Chanukah Cheers & White Elephant Beers: A Festive Brewery Happy Hour

Join us for an afternoon of Chanukah cheer as we celebrate with a twist at Schoolhouse Brewing--the Marietta Campus! This social event promises to be a joyous occasion filled with laughter, great company, and of course, exceptional craft beers. Bring a wrapped, unmarked gift ($15 max) to participate in this fun and quirky tradition. This event is free to attend and you will receive two complimentary drinks! This event if for those who are 25ish-35ish. RSVP here.

Monday, December 11

5:30 p.m. Kiddish Klub Chanukah in my Pajamikahs 

Join your Kiddish Klub friends (and meet new ones) for our third annual Chanukah in my Pajamikas Celebration! Wear your favorite PJs (Chanukah-themed or not!) and join us for crafts, songs, story time, donuts, and lighting the outdoor menorah. Bring your own dinner, and we'll supply the dessert! This event is open to all families with preschool-aged children (and their siblings), so invite your neighbors and friends! Tuesday, December 12

11:00 a.m. L'Chaim Koffee and Kibbitz: Chanukah Bingo

Join your friends from L'Chaim, TKE’s group for active seniors, and meet some new friends at our Chanukah-focused Koffee and Kibbitz! We'll have a latke tasting starting at 11:00 a.m. and Bingo with prizes will begin at noon. This event, which is open to the community, is co-sponsored by AgeWell Atlanta Neighborhoods. 6:30 p.m. Community Chanukah Celebration

Celebrate the sixth night of Chanukah with our neighbors from East Cobb and Roswell at Temple Kehillat Chaim! (1145 Green Street, Roswell, GA 30075) Join us to light the menorah, snack on delicious latkes and sufganiyot, support Israel, and have a ton of fun! Register here. This event is made possible by a Gather Grant from the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta.

There is no menorah lighting at TKE tonight.

5:30 p.m. KEFTY and Kol Noar Lots and Lots of Latkes 

All 6th through 12th graders are invited to indulge in the joy of cooking and savoring delicious latkes, while hanging with their TKE friends. Register here.
