Mishaberach

Mi Shaberach

Comforting words can be said on behalf of those who are ill. Whether friends or loved ones are struggling with physical, emotional or spiritual challenges, this prayer speaks to our desire for their healing.
A renewal of body and a renewal of spirit and let us say Amen........

One of the central Jewish prayers for those who are ill or recovering from illness or accidents is the Mi Shaberach. The prayer takes its name from two words: “Mi” and “Shaberach” meaning, “the One who blessed.” It asks that the One who blessed our ancestors bring about a complete healing for the person for a person who is ill.

We encourage our TKE community to submit names for healing and recovery for individuals that are a direct family member or have permission from the family to do so. Our list will be cleared quarterly, but those that have long term illness will be continued without having to resubmit.

Most importantly, please let the individual and family know that there is entire Temple Kol Emeth community praying for them.

If you need further assistance, please contact the Temple Kol office at 770-973-3533. Thank you.
