Selichot Service

Saturday, September 1, 2018 21 Elul 5778

7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Selichot Service- September 1 Start your High Holiday Season on Saturday, September 1 at 7pm with a contemplative service where we reflect on the year just past and look to the year that is about to begin. Usually, Selichot is about asking for forgiveness – focusing on when we may have missed the mark. This year, we are going to reflect on connection – focusing on how our relationships with each other helped us find the mark. Come with a story, a memory, a thought about when you found a connection to someone or something that gave you strength this year. We’ll give you pens, paper, and markers to draw a page we can bind together in a small Connections Book. A short service that includes the changing of the Torah Coverings and some nosh will also be part of the evening. *Please note that parking will extremely limited due to the set up of Noshfest in the parking lot. Participants are encouraged to park at the DLC and use the walkway to the main building.
