Selichot Service

Saturday, September 1, 2018 • 21 Elul 5778

7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Start your High Holiday Season on Saturday, September 1 at 7pm with a contemplative service where we reflect on the year just past and look to the year that is about to begin. Usually, Selichot is about asking for forgiveness – focusing on when we may have missed the mark. This year, we are going to reflect on connection – focusing on how our relationships with each other helped us find the mark. Come with a story, a memory, a thought about when you found a connection to someone or something that gave you strength this year. We’ll give you pens, paper, and markers to draw a page we can bind together in a small Connections Book. A short service that includes the changing of the Torah Coverings and some nosh will also be part of the evening.
