L’Chaim, TKE’s group for active seniors, presents Mitzvah Day for February’s Koffee and Kibbitz! We’ve got two projects: preparing a meal for approximately 30 residents at the Zaban Paradies Center, and making sandwiches for The Sandwich Project, a non-profit organization whose volunteers assemble and donate fresh, homemade sandwiches to meet the food scarcity needs in Metro Atlanta. This event, which is open to the community, is co-sponsored by AgeWell Atlanta Neighborhoods. No cooking skills required, just a desire to help out.
