TKE Community Information
TKE Stands with Israel
We continue to be dismayed by Hamas’ acts of terrorism against Israel and the resulting violence that is unfolding for civilians throughout the region. As has long been the tradition at TKE, we find strength and comfort in each other. Join us for Shabbat each Friday night as we gather together to pray for peace in Israel and the region. TKE will continue to look for ways to meet the needs of our community and will keep you apprised of additional opportunities for reflection, education, and communal support.
Additional ways to learn more and show your support during these troubling times:
- New Resource: "Rethinking Heroism" by Geoff Mitelman.
- Join our clergy for Morning Blessings: Israel Edition on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 8:30 a.m. on Zoom.
- Review the materials from the November 5 session, "Understanding the War in Israel," with Professor Edward Queen here.
- Discover ways you can support Israel from Union for Reform Judaism
- Donate to the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta Israel Emergency Campaign.
- Find emotional support for yourself or your family at the Jewish Family & Career Services of Atlanta.
