Shabbat Services at Temple Kol Emeth

We welcome you into our sanctuary for Shabbat services every Friday night at 8:00 p.m.  End your week with song and prayer in a warm and casual atmosphere. If you can't join us in person, click the live stream link below.

Shabbat Honoring Israel and Celebrating Lauren Davis

Friday, May 17: 6:00 Family Shabbat service, 7:00 Intergenerational Israeli Dinner, 8:00 Shabbat service

May 17 is going to be a big night! Both services will celebrate Lauren Davis, our Spanjer/Bricks Youth Engagement Coordinator, who will depart TKE at the school year's end. We will also honor Yom HaAtzma'ut, Israeli Independence Day, with special songs and blessings. Everyone is invited to join us for an Israeli-themed dinner (chicken, falafel, pita, salads and dips) at 7:00 p.m. Dinner is $15 per adult and  $8 per child, with a $40 maximum per family. Please RSVP no later than Tuesday, May 14 for dinner.

Support Family Promise Week, May 12 - 19
Training session Sunday, May 5, 2:00 p.m., for first-time volunteers

TKE is looking forward to hosting three families through the Family Promise program from Sunday, May 12, through Sunday, May 19. We can’t do it without YOUR help to make their week cheerful! Volunteers are needed to help with set-up, cooking meals, and staying overnight (training required to interact with the families). Make this week more meaningful for our guests and for yourself and join us for this important volunteer opportunity!

    Join Rabbi Gottfried on Mondays at 1:00 p.m. on Zoom for a guided discussion of Everyday Holiness: The Spiritual Path of Mussar by Alan Morinis. The purpose of Mussar is to find spiritual refinement through the study and practice of Jewish ethics. In each chapter, Morinis presents a particular characteristic of spiritual living, including humility, patience, gratitude and compassion.
