Kol Horim--Voice of the Parents

Give a little time…it takes a big heart to help shape little minds!

Together we will:

• Support the mission, vision and values of TKE as leaders in our religious school
• Lead, coordinate and/or encourage participation in family-oriented activities that serve to financially support our religious school
• Share ideas, concerns, resources and success stories from families in our classes that might benefit the religious school as a whole
• Receive information from TKE and religious school leaders to communicate back to the families in our classes
• Provide feedback and insight to TKE and religious school leaders about each class community: its needs, growth, challenges and successes
• Participate actively in class activities, providing assistance and coordination of resources as requested by our teachers
• Coordinate gifts of appreciation for teachers, madrachim, and support staff

Kol Horim is comprised of parents interested in supporting and enhancing the educational experience their child receives at TKE. People who serve a “room parent” for their child are asked to actively participate in Kol Horim meetings, however, any adult interested in volunteering in the religious school in any capacity is encouraged to attend! We will help you connect with other parents with similar interests and find a way for you to volunteer that is meaningful for you and your family.
