Our Temple

How We Began  (Breisheit...)

Temple Kol Emeth was founded in 1982 by seven families who felt the need for a Reform Jewish presence in Cobb County. We have been affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism since 1987.

For almost 30 years, we have maintained a strong family atmosphere.  Each member has a voice in the future of the Temple. Speak to Kol Emeth congregants and you will hear over and over that this is more than a house of prayer...it is a family and a community.  This is typified by Kol Emeth's many family-oriented activities, including our annual congregational Passover Seder, Hannukah and Purim festivals, an annual day-long picnic and a week-end religious retreat each year.

On a more personal level members are quick to respond to the needs of other congregants during times of need, and newcomers find they are quickly drawn into the Kol Emeth Family.
