Super Heroes Shabbat--February 5th

Batman, Spiderman, Buzz Lightyear, and Captain America are coming right at ya! Join us on Friday, February 5 at 6:30pm at TKE for our Super Heroes Shabbat. Dress in your favorite super hero costume and hang out with Rabbi Boxt and friends for a fun-filled family Shabbat Service. It will be blast!

February Wine and Cheese--February 5th

It's time for some our monthly wine and cheese social before Shabbat services at 8pm. Meet at TKE at 7:30pm on Friday, February 5 to enjoy a glass of wine and do some kibbitzing. Thank you the TKE's Men Club for sponsoring this month's event.

Fab 50s Plus 50s and 60s Party--February 6th

Wouldn't it be nice to have some fun, fun, fun!! Get on your dancing's shoes friends! Meet us at TKE on Saturday, February 6th at 7:30pm when we eat, schmooze, and dance the night away to all our favorite 50s and 60s hits. Potluck dinner is the name of the game so if your last name starts with A to I, please bring an appetizer. J-R is asked to bring a dessert and S-Z will bring drinks. Cost is $4 per person and please RSVP to Janet Brooks at janetann03@att.net.

Friday Night Reggae Shabbat--February 12th

Hey mon! Get dressed in your blue jeans and meet at TKE for some reggae tunes for Shabbat. Our usual Friday night service at 8pm will feature all your favorite prayers and songs, but in a Bob Marley-like theme. It's the next best thing to being in the islands for Shabbat! Grab some friends and we will see you there mon!

Kol Bonim (K-2) is heading to Center of Puppetry Arts--February 13th

Join us on Saturday, February 13 as we are going to the Center for Puppetry Arts to see “SPACE!”, a puppet show with an alien rock-n-roll band that will take us on a tour around the galaxy. This is a great event for our Kol Bonim kids, K-2, and their families. Please plan to arrive at the Center for Puppetry Arts at 1:30 for a 2pm show. Jews at the Movies- February 21st

Let's take a look at famous Jews in the movies. This month, we will be viewing "Annie Hall" on Sunday, February 21st at 3pm at TKE. Cost is $5 and we ask you to RSVP to Evy Eckber at evyeckber@kolemeth.net by February 19th. Woody Allen and Diane Keaton.. sounds like a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

WRJ Purim Baskets

Join the fun of sending MISHLOACH MANOT (gifts of food) to your TKE friends, family, staff, and clergy for Purim 2016. For just $3 each, you can send Purim greetings and sweet treats during this fun-loving holiday, and support the work of TKE’s Women of Reform Judaism. Look for the email on or about February 15, then click on the link provided and begin making your list! Each recipient you select receives a tasty assortment of goodies, and – NEW for this year – families sending gifts will receive an additional BONUS GIFT of their own!
